WORKING LIFE

Last Saturday, she went to Janice’s Birthday Chalet. She had so much fun there and met her old friends (Liangyou and Yongxiang) too. She played mahjong and she won a little. She doubt Liangyou wants to play with her anymore as the tiles she threw out were not the ones Liangyou wants throughout the night. But it wasn’t her fault. =)

Busy decorating in process! Someone was sleeping and doing NOTHING!? Ha ha.

Miss Tired is back since her 1st day of work. Monday was UOB orientation. She had to wake up earlier on days that her training is at Tampines. She do has training in other places like SMU, Raffles Place and Tanjong Pagar. Monday was her Mom’s birthday and she bought a durian cake from Prima Deli after work.

Yesterday, she shopped for her formal wear, bag and heels. There is a shop in Tanjong Pagar selling cheap formal executive clothes, especially business suits. (For females only) She headed down to CafeBiz at Traders Hotel (beside Tanglin Mall) for James’ Birthday celebration. She had a nice buffet dinner and she would like to wish him a very Happy Birthday!

She is pondering what to wear everyday! She got to wake up at 5.30am and leave her house by 6.30am in the events for travelling to Tampines! For town, she got to wake up at 6.30am. Yawns.

Anyway, today she only needs to attend a half day training and back home. =)

And today, she becomes the sister of Mr. Forgetful.
Miss Forgetful forgot to bring her wallet (including her ID) with her for her medical checkup and she has to go down to Raffles Place tomorrow again.

Miss Optimistic most likely will be going down to OUB on Monday and become a Personal Banking Associate. She would like to tell her friends not to worry that she will pester them for any insurances or investments. She don’t wish to lose all her friends. Anyway, it gotta be a tough job to her. And hope things turn out fine for her. And she may become Miss Busy soon.

INTERVIEWS AND INTERVIEWS

Miss Job Hunter went for an interview at UOB Plaza 2 for the post of Personal Banking Associate yesterday. It was a group interview and surprisingly, she wasn’t really very nervous compared to some of the interviewees. After which, she was being called up for their 2nd round – 3 sets of tests at UOB. She did the tests today and saw 2 of the yesterday’s interviewees. She was the 2nd to reach and 1st to finish the tests. And she completed all within the time given. But she doubt she will score well. She was surprised when the other 2 told her that they didn’t finish the first 2 set of tests and she wonder if she was rushing to answer all the questions without careful reading. Anyway, this gotta be a very tough job with a high penalty cost for breaking the 6 months contract.

2 more interviews on pending. She hope to receive good news soon. Maybe she has the highest number of interviews attended among her classmates and friends within these few months.

GOODBYE LECTURE NOTES!

Miss Graduate threw away her lecture notes today. Tidied up her messy room and she is going to throw away her bed frame on Saturday / Sunday because it is spoilt! And she is extremely happy about it because she always think that the bed frame takes up a lot space in her room. Finally, she can move the mattress on the floor and sleep on it. How she wish she has the money to refurnish her room. She want to decorate her own room and discard the old furniture!

MY BEAUTY DIARY MASK

Miss Graduate bought quite a lot of My Beauty Diary Mask in Hong Kong at HK$52 which is equivalent to est. SGD$11 a box (10 masks). And she saw a website selling to locals at SGD$1.60 each mask. Wonder if Singapore Sasa and Watson will sell this mask soon, if not, Miss Graduate will need to get people going to Hong Kong and Taiwan to help her buy the masks after she finishes hers.

GSS is here! Gary and Miss Compulsive were on their shopping spree today. Went down to Bugis to shop. Miss Compulsive bought a blue top in the new shopping mall there, a purple low cut top in Bugis street and 2 nail polish from Sasa. And they are quite cheap bargains. Gary bought a tee-shirt in Bugis street and a shirt in Topman. And Miss Compulsive finds the another long sleeves shirt nice also, which he didn’t buy that due to budget constraints. Topshop and topman are having a 15% offer for OCBC card holders and for every S$60 spent, the card holder is entitled for a GV movie ticket. So Miss Compulsive got a free GV movie ticket as she helped Gary to pay for the shirt first. (The devilish OCBC sup card from my mum in the beginning of the year.)

SLACKING ME

Miss Slacker here is sick after the volunteer work on Sunday. Nevertheless, she find it fun although this one compared to the previous ones is quite disappointing and boring.

Janice, next year we shall plan to sell things and have a booth ourselves instead. =)

As Miss Slacker fell sick, she was unable to work (my part time job). Got her result on the 4th and thank God (ya, all God and I am not a Christian), she has become a GRADUATE and is OFFICALLY UNEMPLOYED. (PS: I don’t consider my part time job and teaching tuition enabling me to call myself an employed worker). Miss Slacker works in her part time job for once-twice a week and teach tuition once-twice a week too, so she is super duper pathetically poor. She had just completed all 4 stages of Initial D (anime) and is preparing to start watching Twilight (movie) later as she is downloading and installing DivX Codec now. Miss Slacker has also been sending application letters, CV and resumes out to companies everyday and hoping to see a beam of hope in finding a good and well-paid full time job so that she can quit being Miss Slacker.

Miss Slacker wants to go swim in this bloody hot weather and wants to drink ice water, but she is sick. So she concludes that she hates to be sick as she is being restricted.

And that’s the end of the “boring” life of Miss Slacker in her slacker world.

BACK FROM HONG KONG

5 Days passed very fast and I am back from Hong Kong. On the 1^st day when we arrived in Hong Kong, we were transferred by WINS travel to our hotel – Dorsett Seaview Hotel. A typical 3 star hotel, with standard room facilities and limited walking space in the room as the room is quite small. Nevertheless, the hotel location is near to the Yau Ma Tei MTR, food area, 7-11, Jade Street and Temple Street. As the hotel is under renovation / maintenance, it is a bit noisy from 10am to late evening. But it doesn’t affect us much as we slept late at night and woke up early the next day. Went to Avenue of Stars after a late lunch and headed to Ladies Market with Ashley and Gavyn in the evening. Francis, Kenneth and Yong Yeow went to Temple Street instead.

On the 2^nd day, we had our 1st Dim Sum breakfast before heading Macau. The ferry trip roughly took 45mins and when we arrived to Macau ferry terminal, we were being pestered by a man introducing his tour with coach service. He was super duper persistence. But we didn’t take up his tour and took the free shutter bus to the hotel cum casino instead. Macau is like an Asian Las Vegas with lots of hotels and casinos. The 6 of us split out based on our agenda. For Yong Yeow, his aim is to visit the casinos and gamble and meet up with his friend who works in one of the casino. For Ashley and Gavyn, their motive is to shop. For Francis, Kenneth and I, we aim to cover the attractions in Macau. But then we failed to cover all within 1 day, so I swear I am going back again in future. *For guys, there are a lot of entertainments for you there.* The Portuguese egg tart and Po Luo Bao are extremely nice too.

Had Dim Sum breakfast on the 3^rd day and set off to Ocean Park. It is a very educating amusement park indeed. Sat on the cable car to the another side of the park and I suspect that my height phobia is getting worse. Watched the sea lions and dolphins’ show, visited the sea aquarium and saw the pandas. Our next destination is The Peak and Madam Tussauds. Guessed that we were too exhausted and shagged that we didn’t really enjoy our second half of the day.

We intended to head to Ngong Ping 360 for the cable car to the Great Buddha on the 4^th day. But the bad weather stopped us and lured us to shop in the shopping centres near Tung Chung Station. Finally tasted the feeling of 买东西,吃东西. There are many sport apparel and branded good shops. Some are quite cheap and most people (be it male or female) wouldn’t resist the temptation to shop. It was a day when our money (the amount we brought) was squeezed dry.

On the 5^th day cum the last day, we woke up quite late (around 11am). Packed our luggage and bag before breakfast cum lunch. Headed to the Hong Kong airport where food are sold minimum of S$10 (even a Burger King Meal) and Home Sweet Home.

I like the weather in Hong Kong although it rained on the 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd night and 4^th and 5^th day. And I hate the Singapore weather – hot and humid. I like the food in Hong Kong although I didn’t have much of my favourite – spicy and hot chili. Nonetheless, I shopped a lot there and feared that my luggage will be overweight (please bear in mind that I brought quite a big luggage). Watched Marley and Me on the way to Hong Kong on the CX plane but I am extremely disappointed that I wouldn’t finish watching The Reader on the way back to Singapore as there were some technical errors to our video. And we finally understand why Cathay Pacific won the airline of the year, it is because the air steward and stewardess are so professional that they will keep asking you if you need any beverages (including wines, coffee and English tea).

SUSHI AND MOVIE

Finally I had the Sakae sushi buffet on Monday (2 days before the Hong Kong trip). I am simply thankful that I am a student as I am able to save money to pay student price on the buffet. Watched Angels and Demons with Gary and I personally prefer Da Vinci Code. Aiming to watch Night in the Museum 2.

BERNARD & SOH HONG’s DAUGHTER’s 1st MONTH CELEBRATION

Went to Bernard and Soh Hong’s Baby 1st month celebration at their condo – D’Mansior on Sunday. It is a super beautiful condo cum apartment. Each unit is 3 storey high with a basement. The European style makes you feel like you aren’t in Singapore but in some part of Europe (although I never been to Europe before). Their baby, Kaiyan, is very cute girl and Yongboo had a wonderful time claiming to be all the children’s daddy and played with them.

MOTHERS’ DAY

Celebrated Mothers’ Day on Sunday too. Bought a Black Forest Cake for my mum and ended up being my cousin’s cake. That’s because my cousin likes cakes a lot and likes to be a birthday girl whenever a cake is bought. Ha ha. Nevertheless, she is a pretty and stubborn girl. Hope my mum likes the cake although it doesn’t taste really nice. =) Shall buy from Bakerin on her birthday in July.

My hand phone rang around 9pm plus and Gary asked me to open my house door for him. He, in his usual tired face with the strong car perfume smell, stepped into my house with a nice black colour paper bag. Surprisingly, he had bought a present for me.

When I opened it, I saw a perfume from Make Up Store named I DO. FYI, he went shopping with his female friend in town and bought that perfume in Paragon. The 1st thing that came into my mind when I opened that box was: “A PERFUME? He brought me a total of 2 perfume and does he think I am smelly?” Ha ha. But I think he likes perfume a lot. Anyway, thanks a lot and I love the perfume. =) (Must have cost him a bomb.)

UPDATES!

Busy mugging and mugging. Finally I am left with my last paper (Managing Change) on this coming Monday. My second paper on Wednesday should be able to pass, but not sure if I am able to score. The questions that the lecturer went through did came out but we aren’t sure if his answers are correct (because there are a lot mistakes in his answers from the sample questions and tutorials!).

My trip to Hong Kong is confirm as there is no need for us to cancel the trip. Ha ha. Those who watched the news on Wednesday should know that it is safe to travel to Hong Kong. And I hope that this H1N1 disease disappear soon. It is giving us lots of trouble as we will need to go for temperature check every time we step into the school. And we are constantly being check if we have the sticker on. Fine, I am not blaming the school for being careful, but I just hope this disease disappear soon.

POSSIBILITY OF CANCELLATION OF HONG KONG TRIP

Can someone tell me there is no Swine flu and H1N1? It seems unsafe to go many places and there is a high possibility that we may cancel our Hong Kong trip. Saw the news at 7pm (Channel U) and I was very disappointed (I am still very disappointed now), a case of H1N1 is found in Hong Kong and H1N1 is more deadly because it is a combination of bird flu, swine flu and …… erm …human flu? Anyway, I am going to call CTC on Monday to ask about the situation about the Hong Kong trip and how much is the cancellation fee etc. Do hope these diseases go off soon. =)

I wonder how sway am I. If I pass all the papers, I will be expected to graduate by mid of the year. But how am I going to find a job with such a poor economy and diseases spreading around? Economy affected, value of currency goes down, exports and imports are also affected, diseases spreading = people’s health in danger, all occupations are facing threats (except health industry) and etc etc etc. OMG! I wish to think of the brighter side but reality is so cruel. Extremely depressed mood now.

And got to know that there is a contest going on. And I log in into the website and join the contest. It is super fun. Directed a movie – Chipster of the Carribean. Ha ha. Lame movie title! Carribean (Curry bean). Many will wonder who is that cute little boy. Ha ha. It is my cousin – Nigel. Isn’t he cute? I tried to edit the words, but I think I forgot to click save, thus the wordings are the default ones from Chipster. This is my 1st movie and please vote! I wana win a Mac book, or at least a IPOD touch. I will definitely try to direct another soon.

Yea, what a good afternoon in ICA waiting and waiting and waiting. I was extremely blur (like a sotong) for waiting at the wrong counter and wasted half an hour. After submitting my photo, I was told to wait for 1 hour for the collection of passport. Felt my whole afternoon wasted for nothing, but I finally got my new passport. Went down to Causeway Point to meet Yong Yeow (YY) to mug after that.

MUGGING IN REPUBLIC POLY

Guess what? We da bao-ed LJS and walked to RP. It is my second time to RP and after walking around, YY and my conclusion is: RP is a combination of school, shopping centre, Nafa and Expo. Ha ha. The school was super noisy around 6pm due to their CCA recruitment and there were many CCA booths there. RP students are talent, creative and funny in some ways. Nevertheless, we did found a super quiet corner with benches to mug. (For info, the mugging session is on 30th April 2009)

OMG! I have big eye bags and dark eye rings. Can’t imagine if I am a person who do not apply eye cream, I wonder how bad my eyes will look like.

After studying 2 chapters of IME (around 3pm plus), I couldn’t force myself to study anymore. Thus, I went to watch Garfield, the movie instead. None of the dvd interest me, cause I have watched most of the movies either in the cinema or online, so I was left with no choice but the orange catty movie to kill my time till 5pm.

X-MEN ORIGIN: WOLVERINE

Watched the X-men Origin: Wolverine today. I consider it a nice show because I am a biased X-MEN MOVIE LOVER. Plus this movie let me understand much about Wolverine’s past (Wolverine has a brother: Sabertooth. And Gambit is also a X-men follower). Anyway, someone is complaining that he expects more from this movie. Ha ha. I want X-men 4! The Phoenix! I want to know what exactly happen to Jean Grey.

MIDST OF EXAMINATION

In the midst of the examination, I had my first paper, Buyer Behaviour (BB) this afternoon. The paper is super duper terribly and extremely DIFFICULT! The 20 MCQ are the ultimate killer. Hope I pass this semester. I do not want to graduate later than expected. The upcoming paper is another terrible module – International Monetary Economics (IME). I am going to start revision tomorrow afternoon.

ANTICIPATION OF THE HONG KONG TRIP

Finished studying BB, but nothing goes into my head. Nothing, none, gone case! Gottta start the final revision and memorizing tomorrow. Shall go through the sample MCQ and exam paper tomorrow too.

Discussed about the Hong Kong trip and itinerary with Francis and YY after our mugging today. We will be going Macau [one full day], Ocean Park, Madame Tussauds and The Peak [one full day] on either the second or third day. Of course we will not miss out the Avenue of Star on one of the days. More planning will be made after our exam.

Heard of Susan Boyle? One of the Britain’s Got Talent participant. She just had an image makeover and I think it suits her well. Anyway, do check out the Youtube video, and you be stunned by how well she sings despite that she don’t look pretty. Many audiences and the judges laughed when she appeared on the stage, but when she sang, all of them cheered for her. This shows that people often looked down on those who appear ordinary but they were surprised when the most ordinary people may be the precious gem. I have not touched my BB notes since yesterday and I swear I gotta find somewhere to study tomorrow. Definitely not at home nor my room where the computer and my comfy bed await me. I have really going to crack my brain, and dump the remaining chapters that I have not studied. Yep, I am going to be brain dead tomorrow after my mugging with excessive loss of brain juice and brain cell during the mugging process. Memory overload! [Francis and YY may be joining me for the mugging session too, so glad I am not alone.]

NEW KEYBOARD, NEW MOUSE & MUG FOR EXAM

Yep, finally changed my keyboard and mouse. I took so many months to make the effort in changing them. The Logitech keyboard was bought by Gary in last year’s August IT Fair and the Microsoft mouse was bought 2 months ago by me. Although they are consider cheap range of keyboard and mouse, I am already contented. The next thing I will be changing is my Linksys wireless adapter. The antenna has already broken off but it is still working (duh, if not, how do I access internet with my PC). I shall find time to change to the new Belkin wireless adapter which was bought by Gary during the August IT fair. So guys, these show that I am quite a lazy person in changing my computer accessories and hard wares. Nevertheless, I was hoping to change the CPU and monitor if I have the money. Ha ha.

MY WORRIES

Went for an interview this morning. 6 rounds by the consultant, senior consultant and the director. I actually applied for the post of Executive Recruiter in Recruit Express and today’s interview made me realized that I have a lot of shortcomings (For example, a C5 in English for my O Level). What to do? I can only try to improve myself in near future. While waiting to be interviewed after each round, I came to ask myself what I really want for life and in future. The interviewers also asked me questions that strike me to think about if I should go into my field of specializations instead. For example, I major in Tourism for my diploma, major in Finance and Minor in Marketing for my degree. Should I go into the tourism or finance sector instead? Yes, I know life is full of uncertainties. But I hate this kind of uncertain feeling. It’s seriously awful.

I shall focus on my exams (which is drawing near) now. And coming Tuesday’s interview shall be the last interview before my exams end.

CONFIRMATION OF HONG KONG TRIP

The Hong Kong trip is confirmed! The air tickets and hotel vouchers are issued by CTC. Will be going down to collect them the week after the exams. Went to websites to view reviews about Dorsett Seaview Hotel. Rooms and bathrooms are very small. But the location is seriously good, near to the temple street but can be noisy at night. I shall continue working hard for my revision so as to finish studying all the 3 modules and anticipate the arrival of the exams, end of exams and the Hong Kong trip!

NEUTROGENA WAVE POWER CLEANSER

There is a new product by Neutrogena - Neutrogena Wave Power Cleanser! It is a vibrating cleanser. Seriously cool and comes in 3 colours! Has anyone given it a try and how is it? It stated that it can clean 10x deeper than traditional cleansing, and I wonder if it really works. May be giving it a try if it is proven good. =)

Gary actually offered to buy me an exercise ball. I feel so much like a hamster or a bitch (female dog). I have a lot of exercises to try out using an exercise ball, so maybe this will motivates me to exercise.

I received a SMS message this afternoon, good news from Yongboo that Auntie had given birth to a baby girl. Congrats! Apologize that I am unable to go down with you guys to visit Auntie as I am trying very hard to stay at home to do some studying for my upcoming exams. The exam dates may seem far, but as I am working for nearly all the weekdays for the next 2 weeks, I have convinced myself to start my revision. After much struggling, I studied 2 chapters of BB just now. I did some touchup of my blog just now. Updated my wish list and owing to my greediness, I have added many expensive and branded things I wish to owe in future. I swear that more will be added into my wish list. =)

JOB INTERVIEWS

I went for an interview this morning. The interview was super short and fast (about 30mins). Does anyone know if a Management Trainee in Prudential the same as a Financial Consultant? I am seriously not very keen of being a financial consultant.

Surprisingly, Price Solutions, subsidiary of Standard Chartered Bank, called me up to complete an online questionnaire which they will send the link to my email. Just finished completing the questionnaire and it is similar to the undergraduate online questionnaire in the Standard Chartered Website. I have been doing lots of personality questionnaires for the past 2 months.

Tomorrow afternoon, I will be going for another interview as an Agency Development Officer at Fuji Xerox Tower. Wish me good luck and finally, the last lecture of the semester (hopefully of degree course) tomorrow morning.

Yes! Yesterday booked the Hong Kong trip with my university peers. We will be flying off Singapore to Hong Kong on the 20^th May and back on the 24^th May. Air tickets are confirmed but we are still waiting for our hotel rooms to be confirmed. Hopefully nothing corks up and I shall be optimistic to look forward to start working after the trip.

Time to start exam revision too!

QING MING FESTIVAL, A GROUP INTERVIEW, THE SHINJUKU INCIDENT

QING MING FESTIVAL

I went to the Lim Chu Kang cemetery in the Friday’s mid night with my mum, uncle and aunties. I believe that everyone will have the mentality that it will be freaking eerie but it was seriously not. Upon reaching there, many people (living humans) were doing their offerings and praying. Touch lights were shone everywhere and everyone seemed to be enjoying their “gatherings” with the dead and remembered ones. Nevertheless, I miss my grandparent lots.

A GROUP INTERVIEW

I had a group interview in Price Solution yesterday. It is super tough and stressful. The journey to Paya Lebar, Cisco Centre, by bus / mrt is super long. Finally, I understand the importance of a car / taxi which helps to shorten the whole journey to 20mins by travelling in the PIE expressway. Anyway, I doubt I will be invited back for the 2^nd interview as I did not do fairly well in the 1^st one yesterday.

THE SHINJUKU INCIDENT

Watch The Shinjuku Incident yesterday night. Not a very Jackie Chan typical type of movie. It’s a good turn for him anyway. There isn’t much Kungfu in this show with fairly realistic portrayal of Yakuzas.

In this film (directed by Derek Yee), Jackie played a "normal" illegal China immigrant in Japan in search of his girlfriend and subsequently encountered troubles and difficulties which lead to him becoming a part of a swindler syndicate in order to pursue a better living and ultimately forming an uneasy alliance with Yakuzas. Gotten used to the new found power, he tried to rearrange his newly taken charged territory in hope for a less conflicting albeit naive manner but things didn't turn out as simple as it seem for him.

Daniel Wu acted as a timid guy in the film. Personally think that his Japanese is better than his weird Chinese accent which still carries a heavy American accent. His appearance was accompanied by short curly hair which contributes to the innocent and fearful look, making you feel sad for him when he gets mistakenly caught by the Yakuzas and got severely brutalized. In the later part of the show, he looked much like a joker who thought that with power and money, he will not be the timid guy as he was before.

There are also many good actors acting in this show such as 錢嘉樂, 范冰冰 and Kato Masaya. Watch it if you want to see a fairly convincing portrayal of the Yakuzas.

Finally! The concert is over. Shag and tired after the concert. Most of the audiences mentioned that they enjoyed 2nd half by Jacob De Haan more. Maybe we had warmed up after the 1st half or our nervousness was reduced. And I really enjoyed playing this concert. Hope those who attended enjoyed too. =)

DAR’S MUM BDAY

I had a very scrumptious dinner at Causeway’s Point Crystal Jade yesterday. Simply yummy! Thanks uncle and auntie. Bought a Bio-essence 24k Bio-Gold Eye Contour Lifting Serum for her and hope she likes the present.

While auntie is looking at the menu to order food, uncle made a cute face for Dar. Looking at the menu too, my expression is WAH! Expensive. Haha.

I made a new spectacle today. Sad to say, I can only collect it latest by Tuesday. My old spectacle, made 2 years ago, can no longer aid me in seeing things clearly anymore. My eye sight has worsened, from 75 degrees to 200 plus degrees! Thanks to my computer, bed and story books. My computer is placed in front of my bed and I love to lie on my bed to read books. So that explains everything! =)

Just a random post. Watched few HKG drama and movies recently. Found out that older guys are more handsome with charismatic. [Someone confirm will be unhappy] Some may wonder why I added Steven Ma in the pictures above. Just finished watching a drama of his and found out that he has been acting as an ideal husband for many dramas. Anyway, the 5 are my preferred choice as the "handsome" category - good for eyes and peaks up my mood. =)

Proud to present the pictures of my 1st It Fair trip. The Suntec IT Fair was super duper crowded on Saturday afternoon. The pictures I posted here show how rich Singaporeans are irregardless of the recession period. Saw alot of people carrying big items like LCD TV, LCD monitors to smaller items like laptops, cameras, rams and mouse out from the fair. The quene at the taxi stand was super long too. Gary, like any other Singaporean there, also brought a Olympus camera and a Holux GPS.

Surprising, my coughing has lessen today. Maybe it is due to the terrible coughing yesterday night when I vomited phlegm with a little blood out. Been drinking lots of water these few days and I am addicted to water. I LURF WATER (H2O)! Hope I do recover soon. I hate falling sick.

Was trying to study for this coming Thursday IME test. But only managed to study 1 topic. 3 more topics to go. Finds IME very difficult. Maybe due to the cool weather. I am quite worried I will not do well for this paper. Do hope I can study well the following days before the test. Praying hard...

BAND PRACTICE

Band practice today was super tiring. I admit my playing has deproved. Gets tired super easily. Used too much lipping instead of air. The coming weeks before the concert will be more tiring. Lots of intonation to do!

Went to the Career Fair in Suntec today. Could see lots of job seekers there. The fair is quite disappointing! CHUI! Nothing much and the fair comprises of more educational stuffs than career stuffs. You can see lots of school setting up their booths there (such as SP, NP, RP, SIM, NUS and other wulu schools!) Well...didn't spent much time there and went window shopping at Suntec after that instead.

The Career and Education Fair 2009 will be held at Suntec Singapore on 5-8 March 2009!

Organized by the Singapore Professional Center and IIR Exhibitions Pte Ltd, and with the support from the education ministry, the event will feature various jobs and educational programs to visitors.

I will definately go down to get a glimpse! Waiting for my "chauffeur" for his willingness to accompany me down to Suntec. =)

And those sitting in front of us (directly) aren't having a nice afternoon today too.
Oh, they are going to be deaf as we are kinda loud today.
Ermx, I wonder how orchestra ppl can survive with the loudness of the bass section, they are tons louder den us.
Met Daryl and Sarah for dinner in IMM. Had a nice chat with them and was glad that they are happily tgt.
And I am going to bug Sarah to teach me piano and in exchange I teach her trombone. Heez.

COOL & RAINY SATURDAY

Simply lurf the cool weather. But I don't really like raining days cos I dislike the idea of carrying an umbrella around. Health is getting worse these few days. *Cough cough* But I swear I drank lots of water to prevent myself from from dehyrating. Maybe due to heatiness and not enough of sleep. Band practice today was shiok and tiring. Full section was there. And our "loud speaker" is loud as usual.

Brought a pair of heel today cos of the laces behind it. And I like my make-up today, maybe due to my good complexion TODAY! Haha.

NEW OUTLOOK FOR YEAR 2009

It is 4.28am in the morning and I am still awake doing my blog. Made a new look for this blog for this year and deleted the previous posts as they seems to be boring for anyone in this world to read, including me. Aren't dogs and cats the prettiest of all?

2 reports due coming this Mon and Tue. Jus hope that things get done and everyone can proceed to study for MC and IME tests. How I wish this last phrase of my school life will end soon. Being a poor student is seriously, UNBEARABLE!
